How does the fun.app work?

fun.app currently has 7 launched platforms within our hub-and-spoke network. Each one is designed to be a wholly contained platform within one fun.app unified ecosystem. You can engage with any of our platforms within fun.app and it all comes together as one experience.

Is fun.app free?

Yes, fun.app is completely free to use. We do not charge for any of the core features of the platform.

Can I reserve my username?

You can request a reserved username, which will send the site admins your request. After verification you may be provided with a reserved username, but there is no guarantee of approval.

Is mature content allowed?

Mature (NSFW) content is allowed on our network, whether that is nudity, sexual content, or violence/gore, however this content must be labeled to prevent it from being seen by those who don’t wish to see it. You can change your NSFW preferences in your settings, including if it is seen at all, or if the content is blurred on load.

Are these all the platforms within fun.app?

For now, these are all the experiences we have built, but we are constantly adding more platforms to fulfill our vision of making fun.app be a complete, unified hub-and-spoke experience.

Can I monetize my account on fun.app?

We are working on monetization, but want to do so responsibly in a way where users can get rewarded for engaging within fun.app without poisoning the experience or turning the network into a cash grab at the expense of our experience.

Do you have ads?

We do not have ads and will fight to keep it that way as long as we can. We are users too, and don’t want the experience to become us holding your content hostage behind a wall of sponsored posts. We do need to find a way to keep the lights on, but our goal is to do it in a way that respects the platform and doesn’t harm your experience.
